In the morning,
we went for a walk along the
beach in Barneville
with Miffy, who seemed to be
in slightly a better form today.

それが今アパートメントに改造されて
いるのだと思う。
After lunch we took Miffy to the vet in Bricquebec.
昼食後ミッフィーを獣医に連れて行った。

have to have the name
with the designated character at the beginning
each year.

フランスではどうやら、
毎年アルファベットが決まっていて
犬や猫を飼い始めたら
その年に定められている
アルファベットから
始まる名前をつける必要が
あるようだ。
The ultrasound scan of
Miffy's abdominal area showed that
Miffy has liver cancer.
Because of her age (16),
we all decided we should manage
the symptoms, rather than treat the disease.
ミッフィーは肝臓癌であった。
16歳という高齢なので、
がん治療ではなく、
症状に対応し、
少しでもミッフィーが
快適に過ごせるように
対処することにした。
