As Miffy is not well,
we took it easy on this day.
My husband went for a swim,
I stayed in to be with Miffy.
ミッフィーの元気がないので、
この日はのんびりと過ごすことにした。
夫は海岸に泳ぎに行き、
私は宿で編み物をして過ごした。
After lunch while Miffy was sleeping,
we went to a clothes discount shop where
my husband bought a pair of slippers,
and a supermarket.
昼食後ミッフィーが眠っている間に、
近くにある洋服のディスカウントストアーに
行き夫はスリッパを購入。
その後にすぐそばのスーパーに行き
食材を購入。
Then we went to the vet.
We had to wait for 20 minutes
outside the vet, as there was nobody inside.
(A familiar story.)
その後、予約を入れてあった
獣医へミッフィーと一緒に行った。
中には誰もいなくて
結局20分ほど外で待たされた。
However, the vet was very nice and helpful.
He spoke English to us so that I could understand.
Basically, Miffy has a bit of temperature
because of her injury in the mouth.
He took a blood sample,
and is supposed to contact us after
he receives the result.
しかし、獣医さんはとても優しい人であった。
私にもわかるように英語で説明してくれた。
ミッフィーの食欲がないのは
口の中にできものができていて痛いせいで、
それが原因で熱があるから
吐き気もあるかもしれないということであった。
血液検査をしてもらうことになった。
Miffy received injections for
stopping nausea and for antibiotics.
ミッフィーは吐き気を抑える注射と
抗生物質の注射をしてもらった。
She ate a canned food suggested by the vet
very happily.
I was very glad to see that.
I hope she's feeling better now....
獣医で購入した療養食をあげたら
ミッフィーは暫くぶりに
モリモリと食べてくれた。
これで少しは気分がマシになると
いいのだけれど。
